Facial recognition technology may be gaining steam across a variety of applications, but it certainly isn’t perfect. This past summer, the American Civil Liberties Union released test results that showed the limits of this technology: Amazon’s Rekognition API falsely identified 28 photos of Congress members as a match for public mug shots.
